I wanted to ask if there were going to be job opportunities at the new library?

  2. Joel Says:

Do you know what is the difference between Library Aide and Library Assistant?

    • Library Aide: “This is an entry-level class that performs a variety of routine manual and clerical duties in support of library activities. This class is distinguished from the Library Assistant in that the latter performs the more complex and technical library activities that require additional knowledge, skills, and experience.”

Library Assistant: “This is the journey-level class in the library assistant series. Initially under close supervision, incumbents with basic clerical experience learn library services, systems, materials, and a variety of practices and procedures. As experience is gained, assignments become more varied and are performed with greater independence.”

I hope this helps Joel. If you need anything else email: info@tularepubliclibrary.org
